When paired with a traditional traverse rod, they are easy to open and close. Many of these styles can utilize pin hooks to attach to a traditional style traverse rod, or the fabric loop tabs can be used on a decorative pole. Pinch pleated curtains are often lined, either with a separate liner or foam backed, using a sueded foam material to help insulate and reduce energy costs.
